categories: Blog

xmas treeHere at Paul Lowe Dentistry we really enjoy this time of year. We love the build-up and the excitement that comes with the festive period and most of all we love getting out and about in Solihull to attend some of the best Christmas events around.

How do you prepare for Christmas? And what festive events will you be attending? We’d love for you to share your thoughts with us– why not drop us a line over on Facebook or Twitter.

Here’s the run-down of what we are looking forward to in the coming weeks:

Solihull Christmas Markets

From the 29th November until Sunday 22nd December Mell Square will be home to the all new Solihull Christmas Markets. There will be over 40 stunning stalls, all offering a range of hand-made and unique gifts, including decorations, jewellery, and wooden toys for children. There will also be the chance to taste hot mulled wine and eat some delicious wintry treats as you shop, making the the ultimate festive experience in the run up to Christmas.

Solihull Choral Society Christmas Concert

This years’ production, The New-Born King, is set to be the best yet, with a mix of traditional carols and other festive songs. There will be complimentary mulled drinks and mince pies in the interval and a wonderful family atmosphere throughout.

7.30pm Olton Friary, St Bernards Road, Solihull, B92 7BL

Tickets are £12, £5 for concessions or £26 for a family ticket.

Jack and the Beanstalk at Solihull Arts Centre

At this time of year everyone loves a good pantomime so why not get yourself down to Solihull Arts Centre between the Friday 13th December and Sunday 5th January to see this year’s extravaganza? Audience participation and sing-alongs are all part of the show and of course there’ll be a loveable cow, men in tights and a rather swanky beanstalk too! Suitable for ages 3- 103 and ideal for a special Christmas get-together.

So what will you be doing in and around Solihull in the run up to Christmas? Will you be doing some last minute shopping, getting out and about, or will you be staying at home and enjoying the build up from there?

Don’t forget it’s not too late to get your teeth looking fabulous before Christmas. If you have any questions about your dental health we will be only too happy to help. You can contact our team here or call us on 0121 711 2424.

Seasons Greetings!
