Twas the week before Christmas – Part 2

When you drink your smoothies, and neglect to brush
Your ennammal is worn away, so it hurts to touch
As I closed my mouth and was turning around
They showed me where the Floride paste could be found

It’s designed to strengthen, from the root to the tip
Taking care of your pearls, would have avoided this trip
With regular brushing we won’t see you back here
Except for you checkups, that should happen each year

Your teeth how they’ll sparkle, your’ll smile so long
For your teeth will be healthy, and your pain will be gone
Your beautiful smile, will be drawn up like a bow
And you’ll be proud to have, your pearly whites on show

It’s so important, to take care of your teeth
To clean them at least, fourteen time every week
For nothing is worse than, a gappy grin
That causes embarrassment, and keeps your smile in

My dentist was lovely, he offered no blame
He gave me advice, and I felt no shame
A wink of his eye, and a twist of his head
Soon gave me to know, I had nothing to dread

I spoke not a word, while he went to his work
He brushed away, the plaque and the dirt
And assuring me thus, he told me to tell all
That taking care of your smile is important afterall

I sprang from my seat, gave a happy little whistle
And home I did prance like the down of a thistle
But I heard him exclaim as I drove out of site
Merry Christmas to all may your smiles be bright
