Restoring chips and breaks with veneers and composite materials
Sports injuries and other accidents may lead to broken teeth. If it happens to you, don’t panic! There is plenty we can do to restore the strength and appearance of your teeth. A veneer can make a chipped tooth look intact again. A porcelain veneer is carefully fitted to cover the whole of the front of the tooth, with a thicker section replacing the broken part. Sometimes your dentist will recommend a naturally-coloured composite material instead of veneers. This is used for minor repairs to front teeth, such as chips or broken corners.
